Warped Tour LB

first time at warped and it didn’t disappoint.

i got to the first day late tho so i couldn’t see the vandals but i did catch ohio is for lovers right as hawthorne heights was finishing but i wish i saw more :c

SOMETHING ELSE I MISSED TOO WAS VIC FUENTES ON UNPLUGGED BC WE COULDNT FIND PARKING

also i got the exclusive ghost energy drink and it was super good, it kinda reminded me of rockstar without the bubble gum taste

i did see some of sublime though but bc im not the biggest fan of them i left early to see mom jeans which was incredible, i wish they played more of best buds but the songs they did play from it i was screaming

after mom jeans’ set was finished we went over to the vans left stage to wait for the all american rejects but a day to remember was taking up more time than they should’ve which kinda pissed me off so we left for cartel. I haven’t listened to much of cartel other than chroma so i ended up not knowing much of their songs sadly. when we went back to the all american rejects it was PACKED (big surprise ik) but they were halfway through and playing some of their new stuff. At the end they played dirty little secret, move along and of course gives you hell.

day 2 cleared day 1 by a landslide.

we got there as soon as it opened at 11 so i could get a shirt before we went to see the bands play (i got a destroy boys shirt :D). there wasn’t anyone playing that i wanted to see so we waited a little before 1 so we could get there early for the paradox, millionaires was playing right before them, but i didn’t really like them that much. the paradox played 2 of their newest songs first which i didnt know that well then they played imani and ms lauren which is how i found out about them which was cool. then they said their drummer was cramping and brought out TRAVIS BARKER AND THEY PLAYED THE ROCK SHOW. i kinda expected them to bring him out tho bc they had released a song with him not too long ago.

after they finished we went to the end of we the kings to see them play check yes juliet and to wait for bowling for soup. I LOVED BOWLING FOR SOUP, they were so entertaining and funny but also i loved their music so duh id love it, they played come back to texas and i went crazy it was amazing. i left right after they played today is gonna be a great day(the phineas and ferb song) so i could be early for destroy boys. random but the first song i learned on guitar was crybaby which is by destroy boys. i loved their setlist but the only thing bad abt their performance was the mixing was weird because the bass was louder than the guitar and vocals which was kinda weird but either way i loved them. i wish i got closer tho bc alexia was throwing out bracelets :c

after that we went to the left vans stage again early to get closer for 311. dude you could tell the lead singer thought he was so hot he was like flicking his tongue and taking off his shirt and stuff like don’t get me wrong he was in good shape but chill out bro. they played amber and down which was pretty sick tho. then i waited through another bands set to get closer for the closers falling in reverse. tbh i didn’t like ronnie too much but he was a pretty good performer and i wouldn’t get to see some of his songs live ever so i might as well have watched their set :p
