i know eevvrryybooddyy is making a post abt this but i wanted 2 say it in my wordz so BLEH.
this site is NOT DEAD ?? & ppl keep pretending it is bcuz all they do it slap a layout on their profile & think it does anything. u have 2 read blogz, post blogz, put ur important info on ur profile [instead of just a thousand kaomojiz & blinkeez], & idk ,,, actually talk abt stuff
itz a blogsite, not a social media app. it doesnt work like that. U cater UR OWN experience instead of having evrythinf done 4 u
ppl r so obsessed w being stuck in an echochamber of entertainment & ppl that was made 2 attract them specifically but they nevr wanna actually have 2 find it. itz also somewut intimidating cuz u need 2 actually say smthn 2 bring that 2 u instead of just sitting & waiting 4 it
i mean, wutevr, rite? if u wanna live that way, idfc,,, but thatz not how evrything on the internet workz. unlearn it & adapt
if u wanna feel 2000z, itz best 2 do it authentically rather than fall 4 anothr trend thatll die. i know this bcuz im scene, have been 4 as long as i can remembr, & i watched the desperate rise & fall of the "rawring 20z"—all scenecore, no actual scene or emo ppl. nothing wrong w scenecore, but it is not scene @ all. it made a new style, sure, but that was the best case scenerio that cldve come from that
i fell a bit off track but oh well ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Literally, but lowkey thought everyone like exploded cus the default blog thingy is on top blogs and not on recent, but now that I look there, it's been so much fun. Love talking to people about things and connecting to others while just using my space to yap. Might quit tiktok lowkeyz
thatz aw sum !!!! im all 4 ppl quitting tiktok & all social mediaz of that type. i havent myself [mainly cuz there r so many funny thingz on there & thatz where i post my editz] but it is noowhere near my priority as much as it used 2 b. luv scrolling blogsitez & forumz, & also finding older videoz on youtube

SAMEE WITH THE OLD VIDEOS, been making a playlist of 2000s EDM type songs and like now I get recommended a ton of old vids and I love them, I even find like animes and stuff I haven't even heard of like Mari-Kari ( be warned that web show has a lot of gore )

i got no problem w gore :) i was a creepypasta kid—mainly mlp & sonic stuff. i draw gore myself! anatomy & stuff is super interestinf 2 learn how 2 do right. i think my fav old youtube stuff is the coudertmeiny show! unforch, most of it is lost cuz the channel it was moved 2 is deleted, but i have a playlist of all that is left!

One of my fav bands I kinda thought became lost media but I love their sound ( technically this vid isn't old but the band was active during like 2006 soooooo and someone was cool enough to post their full album. ) A lot of their stuff got lost to time cus their official website was on myspace

Also pro tip, go to reddit for songs, just search ur fav genre and scroll, the r/posthardcore and r/emo are pretty active subreddits. Some of the songs I get are from there

this is so real i have done jack shit for my profile. reading is so fun it is a real relief to see people just talking. after a while coming across something that clicks. bring back blogging and just seeing where things take u.
so true. also vlogging, but not the moder content-farm blogging—just turn on a camera & talk. i miss when that was a thing, im only 18 tho, so i rarely saw much of it. the internet use 2 b a place ud go 2 talk abt the world but now the world is just a place 2 talk abt the internet
