As I write this sitting in my current favorite coffee shop, with the intention of not taking myself too seriously. I like to think that many of my best thinking and discussions happened at a coffee shop.
Favorite books, best writing, and great friends define my coffee shop experience. At all hours too. 7 a.m., midnight. Each hour has the potential for different and exciting possibilities. I know I wouldn't want to lose that. So that said, no matter which city I'm in, what I'm feeling, a coffee shop will likely be the answer. I love them and want it to stand for almost as much as the actual coffee. Miscellaneous pastries are always a bonus.
My sacred space takes too many forms and specializes in many roasts.
In so many aesthetic ranges. Do I have preferences for chairs, ambiance, and music? Sure, I do. But as long as it fulfills the basic soul of a coffee shop, I’m generally at peace.
One must keep an open mind about these things, because inspiration is often unpredictable. You’ll look for that in a good coffee shop, Inspiration. To; read, write, create, date, study, talk.
The current one I'm writing in now is a coffee speakeasy. You need the password to get in here. The password gets you the key, which is a dagger. Very cool stuff. The music is jazz and jazz adjacent. Perfect for what I am here to do. What im here to do Im not so sure, but the music is perfect for it anyway.
We all need a place like this. So go find one.

I love coffee shops as well. The only downside (and I know that they have to do this so that person can hear their name being called) is that when they yell out a person's name. But I know WHY they do it. I just put my airpods in to distract me from the noise lol
haha, I know what you mean, then you got to wait for your order to vibe in your own world. This place Im in now uses playing cards, you get one and match the same card to your order, of they'll bring it to you.
