When you say "the clothes were actually in style so you didn't get judged", do you mean that trends lasted for a longer time than they do now? Like, individual items would be in style for longer? Anyway, when it comes to finding a local community or something, the quality of the clothes to some degree, I feel like the 2000s were better in that regard, but for everything else I'm not so sure...
