so if yk about the online safety act in the uk basically its to stop kids watching porn or something idrk but for some reason spacehey was banned with it?? im on a vpn rn so i can still use it but its already so dead whyd they have to go ban half the users.
also there might be another law with screentime for children which is just so fucking stupid because 1 it should be the parents choice how much screentime they have and 2 some people are very shy and have a hard time socialising (including me) so making friends online is the closest some of us have to making actual friends but instead of helping the government just says "fuck that" and changes the laws again.
back to the online safety act, not all gooners and goonettes over 18 want to give their id to a random ass porn website bc you know it might sell ur info on the dark web u never know?! so yeah its not really helping anyone also im hypersexual so now i have nothing to goon to yeahhh bye 😘Â

basically the uk government made a law that requires social media to have in depth age verification and spacehey doesnt have the resources to do that in a privacy friendly way so they chose to bite the bullet and get rid of uk access
ohh right well i dont think theres any point in the new laws its not stopping anyone from doing it we just use vpn
