Hello, I’d like to introduce myself.

I don’t usually write about myself, but lately I’ve felt the need to leave something written somewhere. Not to get attention, just because I think it would be nice to connect with someone who understands the things I love, even if it's just here.

I like fashion.
Especially anything with a nostalgic, soft, or thoughtful feeling to it. I feel comfortable wearing feminine clothes, skirts, lace, bows, delicate things. I'm drawn to what some call the coquette aesthetic, and also vintage American styles from the 50s and 60s. I love the lolita style too, though I wear it in my own way. I'm not trying to follow any strict rules, just trying to dress in a way that makes me feel like I’m inside a quiet, beautiful memory, even if only for a little while.

I also enjoy taking photos.
Mostly of simple things: a cup of tea in soft light, an empty street, a nice shadow on the wall. There’s something special in everyday moments when you take the time to really look. Maybe that’s why I’ve never gotten tired of blogs or personal spaces online. I still prefer them over fast, crowded social media.

I listen to music all the time. I don’t have just one favorite genre. I love Lana Del Rey because I see myself in her lyrics, there’s a gentle sadness in her songs that never really leaves. I also listen to rock and metal, different styles and eras. Sometimes I like the energy of heavier music, and sometimes I just want something that leaves me thinking.

And even though I like a lot of things, it’s not always easy to share them. I’m a reserved person. I’m not the most social, and often I worry I’m saying too much or that I don’t fit in. But still, I’d like to have friends. Someone to talk to about fashion, music, thoughts, everything that builds up inside. Not to fill a void, just to share what’s too heavy to carry alone.
