The Inundation of the Nile! (25th July-27th July)

So, I posted this in my bulletins... But I think i want it to last way more than just 10 days!! So I'll turn it into a blog ;3
Happy Inundation of the Nile Day!!!
Today, we celebrate the Inundation of the Nile in ancient Egypt after three years of drought... A miracle, If you ask me!

---What is The Inundation of the Nile about??---

In both Roman and Egyptian traditions, the inundation of the Nile was very important, since it was seen as a blessing from Osiris, the egyptian god of fertility and farming: The Nile would flood and would fertilize the fields, making the crops prosper and providing new food... For three years, the Nile wouldn't flood anymore, causing hunger and a massive drought... After Antinous died, a new star appeared in the sky, symbolizing his deification, and, that same year, the Nile succesfully flooded!!!... this was proclaimed to be Antinous' miracle, where he became as one with Osiris, saving people from the starvation ^_^

Today, 27th of July, the ceremony was held! It was lovely...!!!

Antonius Subia (Antonivs Svbia) the priest, started reading some prayers, and explaining about the Inundation of The Nile and it's history related with Antinous... Everyone prayed, and there was time to meditate and pray to Antinous too... It was a beautiful moment to connect with yourself and Antinous ^^

The ambience was lovely, full of good vibes and smiles ;3

When the ceremony ended, Antonius and some of his people remained to chat for a little bit, and I stayed. They showed a map of how Antinoöpolis used to be and look like... amazing!!! 

I did a little speech and everyone was listening so closely! I got blessings!!!, as well... ^^
