ok pls dont take the title as me h8ing da internet. that is absolutely not true. i LOVE the internet! it's where i've spent most of my 17 years if i'm being honest lol! i can thank mai parents 4 that...

but anywayz. digital media! its what mainly exists today. and i DONT LIKE IT ONE BIT! it's very handy i will admit! lots of my interests lay in online content! i am a huge mcrp fan, i adore scrolling on pinterest and tumblr for hours and hours, i love watching videos people upload and content people create online! but thats the difference in what i'm talking about! i enjoy the content created by PEOPLE, uploaded 4 everyone to enjoy! streaming is where my hatred lies :p

streaming is so... unnecessary! yes, it existed in the time frame i tend to romanticize, but it's gotten to such a bad point. i don't see the need to own 2398421 different streaming apps, i shouldn't be paying so much monthly to see content i want to view because "oh this show isnt available on the site you already pay for. pay for another one instead to view it!" why would i do dat xp

i pay 4 spotify premium even tho most the music i listen 2 is saved on an mp3 player, but thats only bcus b4 i got it i was only using spotify and when it comes 2 the app on ur phone u have no choice BUT to pay for it cus it sucks so bad! why am i having to pay for a site i use to listen to... one song? and not the "songs like this"? its so annoying. but if u own the song somewhere else (ex; cds, mp3 players/ipods, literally anything else) u can just. listen to the song! and not have 2 pay for it again! its so freeing :D 

dvds too they should be included in this! it's difficult to find dvds of movies and shows, but it's so worth it. u dont have to spend forever looking for which of the 27 different streaming platforms u pay for have the movie. u just have it! it's ur own! u can watch it any time without having 2 search for it! (unless ur like me and most ur dvds r in big book cases... thanks mom & dad ROFL)

i love the fact that i grew up w parents who luvd collecting things. now that i am sick and tired of trying to pirate or search 4 movies i just took most of their dvd/cd collection, and its GREAT! i use my ps3 for it all! thats another thing too, my dad LOVED his consoles, and now i am in possession of so many good playstation games! from da ps1-ps3, much game so wow! 

to sum dis up: STREAMING SERVICES R BAD THEY SUCK! THE RISE OF SMARTPHONES DAMAGES US AS A SOCIETY IT ALL SUX! start buying consoles and dvds and cds and mp3 players and things its so much better :D
