New project 2 (electric boogaloo)

So to make a long story short, the Datsun in my previous post rusted and died. Tried sitting in it, and it fell through the floor, even hit one of the body mounts on the way out lol. So, I got yet another free car, and as you can see by the photo, it actually has a chance this time! It's a 98 VW Cabrio 5 speed that's sat for a couple years, but it doesn't seem to really have cared about that fact. When I found it, I chucked in a new battery, and drove it out of its grave using nothing but brake cleaner. I bought a new fuel pump and installed it, got a new engine harness and put that in too, and now i'm waiting on a timing kit, alternator belt, and dipstick tube to make it run a bit better. I decided to name it Palmer, after Arnold Palmer since he was a professional Golfer.
