Why life cannot be like wifty? (reflexion)

Se quiser uma versão em português, tem no meu perfil :3!!

Expectations vs Reality

All throughout our childhood, we watched cartoons that made teenage life look easy. Problems were solved in five minutes, everyone was confident, teens were rebellious and didn’t care what others thought, friendships were always fun, and school was just a place to laugh.
But if you live in the same world as I do, you know those cartoons lied to us.

Real life was hidden from the TV screen. And now we see the truth: school is heavy, friendships are complicated, there’s comparison, changes, and problems we can’t solve so easily...

I watched When I Fly Towards You, or as most people call it, Wifty — and that series feels more realistic. Real problems, real feelings, real challenges, the pressure of school… something closer to real life.

“So, if it’s that realistic, why isn’t it real life?
Well, the truth is simple: it was planned. Every moment, every problem had already been written with a solution. Wifty is also a kind of illusion (sad, i know :(... ).

Turning that into reality

Now that I’ve thrown all those hard truths in your face, let me cheer you up a bit:

Nowadays, there’s something called “romanticizing life”. Maybe you’ve heard of it — or at least seen someone treating life like a show, acting as if they’re the main character. That’s what it means to romanticize life.

“And how can I romanticize my life?”
That’s something you need to figure out. You have to feel alive, not like you’re acting. You can spend just five minutes staring at the sky, listening to the street, or admiring your own eyes. You want to feel like you’re in a movie — not on a film set.

The truth is, the internet makes simple things complicated. Your mind wants everything perfect, everything “post-worthy”… but sometimes, it’s the imperfection that makes something beautiful.
For example, while I was writing this, a leaf flew past my window. It wasn’t a pretty leaf, and it didn’t even fly gracefully — but maybe it had just fallen from a tree or floated away while an old person was sweeping the street.

Romanticizing life isn’t about copying aesthetic quotes ChatGPT gave you, or acting like a character from a film you liked. Romanticizing is about…

I’ll leave that part for you to decide.
