how tf people get so into religion and this Isnt even "getting so into" this is like getting so outside of it😭im not tryin to be rude but sometims it actually scares like wdym you devote ur life to this? I don't have a problem with this type of people but its just personally weird for me
like when I was at 5 grade I used to listen to eminem and once my mothers aunt take my earbuds and listened to it and then she said god will never forgive u for listening to this type of song at Muharram(Muharram is a holy month of mourning in Islam) LIKE I'M NOT EVEN MUSLIM WHY UR SAYING THIS TO ME AND I'M JUST A KID LEAVE ME ALONE

haha yea my aunts like one of those devout christians, rlly that whole side of my family is to the point from an outsider's perspective they kinda look batshit crazy like both of her kids ended up kinda screwed up but she makes up for it by harrassing my mom (who has her own issues so /shrug) and trying to influence me to find the "right kind of people" by which she exclusively means a christain youth group who are also heavily devouted to christ but only specific churches who worship the "correct" bible the "correct" way (i tried being open minded to a baptist southern church and she lectured me on the phone for hours abt how strict they are or smth idk) like lady sometimes do you hear yourself? i dont give a f about like her political standing or whatever but deadahh its some cult behavior for sure, then again she was born in like late 1950s so i guess thats just a product of her time u know?
btw no shame to her kids, i love my cousins dearly and honestly i can relate to them rlly well despite the fact they're like 20 years older than me. they dont rlly get along well w each other and tbh no one in that family does because everyone judges everyone so it is what it is but yea religous ppl

They are so lunatic and delusional with religion that they want to apply it to everyone around them to 'save them'
