The Sims 2 -> More Sparkling Town stories (my custom neighbourhood)

So... Sparkling Town has been great!

Last week, I made a new sim named Tiger Diamond, a very nice guy, perhaps a little bit too much for his own good, who has the Knowledge life aspiration.

I got him a nice house I placed on this custom neighbourhood then tried to get him a job in Journalism since he likes writing and stuff, but he got fired on the first day because of some stupid yearbook (yk, those wacky pop up choices that sometimes appear while a sim is at work).

Poor guy was just trying to help and he was devastated when he got home, so I decided that he, instead, would pursue another path in life to obtain money and I first made him write articles for SimCity Times (comes with a mod where special computers in the Build Mode offer additional options, even banking and studying for Badges and Skills).

Then he dug some stuff from the ground and sold all of that, started building robots and also sold them and got some Simoleon trees to harvest.

I'm really proud that I chose this path for him because I was able to build him a very nice house.

Then he met his neighbours, Day White and Bonnie White, who live down the road and because he lives right next to Lara Delight, they became friends and later lovers.

They had a dream date and she loved it, even leaving a bouquet of flowers at his door with a very nice message. :)

Oh! I forgot to mention that while Tiger was away on a Community Lot, I have a mod that when you return home, time actually passes, but you have to wait for your sim to come back home.

So... One time, the gypsy woman left a genie lamp near my house. Quite lucky for someone who felt so unlucky.

I used it, of course and used 2 wishes for money, then 1 for Peace of Mind, which permanently makes your sim be in a Platinum aspiration level, which is perfect for Aspiration rewards because he will be very successful when using them. Also, he will never go crazy. lol

Tiger and Lara got engaged then days later, they married. She moved in and I finally got rid of her cheap house. It's even better because she brought more money to the family and last time I played with her, I made her dig for treasure a couple of times and she found three treasure chest, which can be sold for 5000§ each. I only sold two and kept one for an emergency.

Renovated the house, added another floor, a cool bedroom for them, an open office area with a large window to their garden for natural light, then another room for their future kid.

I also made a greenhouse outside for the Simoleon trees.

Lara got pregnant and everything was fine until... My game started to go a little wacky and I made the mistake on going out with the neighbours to one of Downtown's Bowling Alley. 

It was fun and I got printed photos of Lara to hang on the wall, but when they came back, they were tired and starving. I think they ate some leftovers before going to bed, but when they woke up, I saved the game and then made Lara prepare pancakes.

Or more like... serve them. She placed pancakes on the available space on the table, but there were two dirty plates there too, so she went outside to eat her own plate. Idk why, but while she was eating, she starved?

Then she died... well, kind of. I closed the game without saving and opened it again to save Lara.

I managed to make her eat as quick as possible, two Instant Meals just to ease her stomach.

Peace was here again. But bc my game was messing with me, my sims were confused to where to go, sudden Go Here actions were appearing.

Ok... But it was okay for now. Then Lara went to bed while Tiger finished a SentryBot, but then she gave birth and I had to reset everything again bc the baby's skin was being mixed with my custom skins and... he was black.

(I also use default replacements, so the sims look a little nicer)

It doesn't make much sense, but that one was a custom skin and also, both Tiger and Lara are white. LOL!!!

It was a baby boy, but when I reset again, the baby was replaced with a baby girl, who I named Flo.

Cute name, isn't it? :3

But damn... All of this was a headache to manage.
