Eyes dug out by angels
Weeping a pool of blood
She mourns the loss of seeing beauty
In her love that stops time in her heart
With eyes of worry and whispers of guilt
In her mind undeserving of love
She tries to stop the cries
Rid her of sorrow she carries
embraced by the woman
She hears gentle words
Describing the world so cruel
That it left them to rot
Evil souls turned to stone
their deserved fate sealed
Statues of fear keep them concealed
protect them from ever being perceived
Snakes in her mind try to turn her bitter
But the shushes them not to awake the sun
As the warmth of the love makes her feel
Like a moth to a flame as if the world had just begun
Promises sown
Into the earth's core
We will protect each other
For as long as the world will know
