Teenage Love

This is the story of a cliché love

They met in high school, and couldn’t stop sneaking a peek

Their friends would always tease them,

But finally one asked the other’s number,

And oh how that love bloomed

They became the couple everyone knew

The couple everyone wanted to be

Always teasing each other,

Going on cute dates,

Posting on social media,

Oh teenage love

It’s so innocent

Because they hardly ever actually work forever

But they made it seem like it might

They were each other’s first love

But not the last

Because teenage love rarely lasts forever

They still tried their hardest,

But they later on became a back and forth relationship,

And then,

The worst thing happened

The older was caught cheating,

And that was when the youngest had the last straw,

And said “teenage love doesn’t last forever, we’re done.”

The oldest begged and begged

“But baby, you’re the one I love”

And the youngest replied with

“If you loved me, why would you cheat?”

And they rushed out,

But not before looking through all their precious pictures together,

Thinking about those precious memories,

Now both turned rotten,

They felt a single tear run down their cheek,

And ran,

Because teenage love never lasts.

I guess you can call this a "song" idk, I don't really know how to rhyme for some reason,,,but I wrote this some time last year, and I'm really proud of it !
