Layout is being weird

So, I've been messing with spacehey for a bit and I noticed that sometimes your layout won't be able to change, I'll go to my about me to change it and the code link thingy isn't there, only my normal description. I'll put a new layout in and it works but the actual background of the layout doesn't change. Is there any way to fix this without deleting my account?
