After Chocolate asked me who I liked again, I sucked up my pride and admitted that it was him. Once I sent the messaged, I was completely nervous about his response.
Especially, since he did not respond right away. I began to regret telling him that I liked him. Nevertheless, it was taboo for a girl to admit that she likes a boy directly. I then started to feel embarrassed bc we were two different people from two different worlds.
I then started to think, 'well why would he pressure me so much into confessing who I liked?' But ofc I began to over think some more, and created hamulating scenarios in my head. The longer I waited for his response, the more negative I began to think.
All of a sudden, he finally replied with a dry ass 'really?' I was starting to become frustrated with this response bc wtf. Ofc I like him! Why would I just say that for no reason? So, I responded by saying 'yes, really.'
He then instantly responded by saying 'lol.' I started to get even more frustrated with his response, so I had gotten bold enough to ask him 'okay, so hbu?' He then asked me what did I mean by that, and I responded by asking him if he liked me too. Idk what made me ask him this, but ig I just wanted to know just to ease my mind. It took him a lil bit, but he finally texted me back and said a simple 'yea.' Then I texted 'you know i mean like you, like you right?' He then responded 'yea, i do.' My heart dropped the second I got that text back. Curious enough, I asked him 'so what now?' He then replied 'idk lol.' That response took me back a bit, but I ask him 'so, do you wanna go out with me or no?' He then replied 'sure.' But for some reason, I needed sometime of clarifying reassurance. So, I asked him 'does that mean that we're boyfriend and girlfriend?' He then responded with another simple 'yea.'
I started to become ecstatic that this was happening. I instantly ran to Breezy and told her the great news. And ofc, she was extremely excited for me, but even more curious about what kind of guy he was. So ofc, she insisted to invite him to our normal hang out at the next street over again. I told her that I would ofc talk to him about it.
The next day, me, Breezy and our group of friends were hanging out outside of the school waiting for the first bell to ring. I was telling them all the news, until I saw Chocolate hanging out with his friends near the entrance to the building. That's when I pointed him out to the group, and ofc they were all shocked with his appearance and social status. One of my friends named KayKay suggested that I go up to him and hang with him and his friends. But, I told her that I will let him have his time with his friends.
Later that day at lunch, I decided to sit next to Chocolate this time, instead of sitting across from him. And ofc that put the ghetto girl off guard, bc that was her initial seat. And, ofc her salty ass was sitting at my old seat with the sickest screw face. Chocolate and I were extremely playful with each other during lunch which was obviously noticeable. That's when Discoball asked us if we were dating, and ofc I answered yes. Once I answered tho the ghetto girl rolled her eyes and went on her phone. The ugly boy put his head down.
Once lunch was over, Chocolate walked me to my next class. Not only that, he walked me inside and kissed me in front of the whole class. Once he left, ofc the entire class was ouii-ing at us. And, the second I sat down, all the girls were asking me questions and comments like "omg is he really your boyfriend," "wow, how did you even get him," and "damn ya'll so cute." I'm sure some of those comments were a bit shady, but none of that mattered to me at that moment. I finally got the man of my dreams, and it seemed like my popularity status was going up.
After school, my sister Breezy and I were planning to go to the next street over to hang with our lil squad. As we were walking over there, Breezy asked me if Chocolate was joining us. That's when I realized that I completely forgot to ask him if he wanted to chill. So, while I was with our friends, I decided to ask him last minute. But ofc, since it was so last minute, he had something planned with his family already. But, he did offer to hang out with us the next day. I began to tell my friends that they will finally meet Chocolate, and ofc they were all happy and excited.
The next day comes around and Chocolate and I continue to be playful at our table. However, this time the ghetto girl wasn't at our table. Discoball asked all of us if we had seen or heard from her, but none of us had that day. Tbh, I'm sure she just didn't want to sit at our table bc of me and Chocolate. But, I didn't want to assume cause she could just have been absent for all I know. The ugly boy kept to himself for the majority of the lunch period, just like the pervious day.
After lunch, Chocolate pulled me aside before walking me inside my class. He wanted to talk to me about the ugly boy. Well apparently, after he walked me to class, the ugly boy was following us and pulled Chocolate aside to talk to him. I guess he told him that he was upset that Chocolate had made a move on me before he could. He also admitted to the ugly boy that I just had no interest in him, and ig this info made him upset. I thanked him for telling me this, and he was honestly shocked that I wasn't mad at him. But tbh, he was going to find out how I felt about him sooner or later, so I didn't care how he would find out.
That's when I asked him if he still wanted to chill with me and my friends later, and ofc he agreed. I asked him if he had ever been on that specific street before, but he had never heard of it. He then asked if there was a way where we can meet up halfway, and we can just walk to the street together. Once we both described where we lived, we realized that our half way point of meeting was at the town's community college. So, we decided to meet there after school.
Later that day, I walked to the community college and seen him already waiting for me. As we walked to the hangout spot, we started to get to know each other some more. I asked him if he was in any other relationship besides me, and he said that he has but it wasn't serious. I told him the same thing, and then I asked him if any of his exs had ever met his parents before. He admitted that his ex did, but his parents, especially his mom, did not like any girl that he had brought home. I asked him why but he couldn't give me a straight answer. I asked him if his parents would like me, and his response was 'maybe my dad, but idk about my mom.'
Once we got to the spot, my friends finally got to meet him. Honestly, the day was perfect, and everyone had gotten along with him. We had even taken our first couple photos together that day, and ofc I posted them on Instagram and Twitter. I had asked my friend Jah if he could take the photos, and he had humbly agreed. Everything just felt so perfect.
The next day at lunch, Discoball and I were talking about zodiac signs and began to ask everyone at the table when their birthdays were. Ofc, the ghetto girl wasn't there, so it was just me, Chocolate, Discoball and the ugly boy. Once we all learned when me, Discoball's and the ugly boy's birthday were, I then asked Chocolate when his was. Surprisingly he said that it was today! We were all surprised about his answer, and I asked him why didn't he ever bring it up? He then said that he honestly forgot about it, until we brought it up.
That's when I realized that since it was mid April, he was an Aries. Tbh, he was one of the first Aries I have ever met, so I really didn't have an opinion about it. The only other Aries I knew was my friend Jah, but their personalities were pretty different. My own zodiac sign is a Scorpio, so I wasn't sure how compatible our zodiac signs were. Especially since I was just getting into astrology, and I didn't have much knowledge on it.
After lunch, Chocolate walked me to my class like usual. However, he pulled me aside again like the day before. At first, I was nervous if it was about the ugly boy again. Especially, since he kinda wasn't himself again. Thankfully, it had nothing to do with him. He asked me if I wanted to come to his house over the weekend.
I then asked him 'wait, i'm gonna meet your parents for the first time?' That's when he said 'yes, you will.' Right then and there, my heart sanked to the ground...

- You're just an ass, don't you? I've been using my own robotic voice for years now, but this guy is really weird, so you have to get used to him and stop being weird. He doesn't have any sense of smell or smell-like qualities and I can feel him, but he has some sense for you.

He is very quiet, but he has an extremely low opinion of my robot voice and he's really annoying. I don't like to talk to him. I just want you to get on your own.

I'm really surprised at his reaction. He is really quiet and doesn't like me very much. He just doesn't like me at all and I'm not really into him, but it's just weird, he really hates me, I don't know how I can explain that. I don't like to hear him talk to people and just ignore his problems, and it really doesn't help that he is very nice to you."
