I fear I've optimized my computer too much.

I'm a spoiled little boy...

I haven't watched an ad on my computer in months. I've got the hardware to read all kinds of things, and all applications I need and a decent library of mp3s are just a click away. I can do most of the things I need to without internet access. When I use the web without an adblocker, I'm like a vampire in the sun... I really do believe if it weren't for all these modifications I'd hate technology a lot more.

I don't know how some people use sites like YouTube without a whole bunch of add-ons to get rid of the annoying bits like shorts, infinite scrolling and clickbaity thumbnails. Untrap (the chromium extension) has been my savior. It helps to make YouTube better AND in my opinion less addicting! And it's got customizable settings so you can make YouTube yours again! Pair it with an ad blocker and it's heaven on a plate!

I might make a post sharing my favorite things I've done to optimize my computer one day! It's something I really care about and I think other people should too!
