God damn

So it's been a while since I've visited this website, and I just wanted to hop on back to share a few things with some of y'all that probably wouldn't even see this. I'm moving out in a week to get ready for college, and I couldn't be more nervous. It would be my first time living independently, and as if that isn't hard enough, I'm moving to a city I'm not familiar with. Move in starts on August 3, and classes start on the 11th. I don' think that's enough time for me to get used to the city. Does anyone here have any tips they wish they knew before living alone? I would appreciate the help!
