Am i really alt or just a poser?

Ok so Im starting to make my way into the alternative community (specifically scenmo). I feel like alot of people in the alt community would call me a "poser" because i listen to the music (mainly mainstream bands sadly) and i have the same beliefs as them but i just dont dress scenmo(yet i honestly dont know where to start). I do my hair like scenesters and i know amlittle bit about the history. BUT I STILL FEEL LIKE A POSER. 

So what do yall think. You you think im still alt or no.
