It really is that damn phone!!

Currently typing this out at my local library on my crusty dusty old school laptop. With my 20th birthday just around the corner, it's so easy for me to feel "behind" compared to my peers. Job-hunting with the correct qualifications and picture-perfect resume is humbling. But guess what? Unemployment doesn't haven't to be the hell-hole society tries to make it out to be.

I'm typing this because I know a looot of younger people are on SpaceHey atm (which in this case, HIII!) and probably feel trapped. Stress with school, peers, and all this other crap that you feel the need to escape from via social media and other mind-numbing crap. Can I honestly tell you something? Your pesimissm and/or doom-scrolling is holding you back from seeing the beauty of it all.

When's the last time you stopped to sniff the flowers? Ever drove by a certain building and always wanted to go inside? Go! Literally who is stopping you? Go feel the sun on your skin even for a few minutes and feel alive. Go buy a little cheap treat and sit. Observe it all. Go people-watching. Life can be fun and surprisingly simple when you block out the unneccesary pressure society plops onto us :) the world is scary but so is losing your wonder and curiosity!

Talk to cashiers! Compliment strangers! Go driving! Go dancing in your bedroom! Do what makes you happy! God bless my friends, and take it easy on yourself. You are loved and you have a purpose in this world that you will discover in time <3 simply exist for today. That's all anybody can ask of you.
