Me being "critical" with myself (in a good way btw)

I was analyzing the way I write my fanfiction and...

I write nice but I think I lack feeling and connection tbh.

I think it because I have this strange limitation to write with certain way of describing or certain words just because I considered it corny and pretentious (and I didn't even know why, it's so ridiculous, and maybe it's because I have terrible reading comprehension and I like everything literal /hj).

But I think I should be more descriptive or less literal (not at all, I love going to the point in the moment and being not metaphorical, more because I'm terrible doing metaphors)

Anyway just me saying something that maybe is ignorant as heck T.T
