why, why, WHY did toby fox have to make the gerson fight SO hard

i was already suffering the effects of jackenstein (yes. yes i struggled at a mini-boss.) and now i have to do this??? WHY COULDNT SUSIE JUST HAVE TAKEN THE STUPID AXE WHEN GERSON WAS GONNA GIVE IT AWAY...????
