Generative AI is a Crisis.

There's currently an ongoing crisis for all artists, music artists, digital artists, animators, and other creators that needs to be taken seriously. This blog will be regarding the negligence and destructive practices of using generative ai.

Yes — Ai is bad privacy wise and isn't safe for your virtual security, but that isn't the only issue here. Humans have worked years and years to create the admirable accomplishments we have today. Art helps us express ourselves in creative ways, creating stories, themes and lessons to guide us into a better path of understanding ourselves and our purpose. We put effort into what we create, it isn't just talent, it challenges us, it disciplines us, it teaches us, it drives us to explore self identity.

The selfishness of those who've encouraged generative ai is far beyond any self absorption I've ever seen. We are playing god. Not only does this have to do with arts related to music or drawings, but also literature, math, biology and much more. Everything humans as a society have built their way to find out is now being watered down into an unserious, shallow collection of history. We cannot just play god and forget the meaning of everything we've done or why we are here. 

Chatgpt, Character.ai, ANY use of ai should be seen as not only unethical, but also pathetic and embarrassing. People who truly have a sense of self and care will find this wrong, those who use it are only exposing how careless and shallow their emotions are. They lack any empathy, sympathy, media literacy, intelligence, it's our generations new global stupidity.

People will lie, saying it's helpful because it "ups efficiency and productivity!" What productivity? Your overconsumption for destroying our environment and laziness? Pick up a pen, get a book, use your brains. You're practically rotting yourself into idiocy. You are serving no good purpose to our world or our existence itself, only encouraging more of the uneducated and selfish ones to partake in your little session of indolence and ignorance.

And yes, it is bad for the physical environment. Not only is it bad for our cause, it's also bad for our planet. Training a single AI model can emit as much carbon as five cars in their lifetime. It produces staggering amounts of electricity, increased carbon dioxide emissions and requires many of our resources just to make this monstrosity.

When I have the energy, I'll continue making blogs like this to help put an end to this nightmare. I'm not going to ever stop fulfilling my dreams just due to propaganda and AI's existence. Keep creating. Do not give up YOUR dreams because of the selfish and lazy community of ai users and supporters we have today. (^_^) 

I'll soon post several links that provide education on why and how to stop ai, and even some petitions to stop ai, because every step counts, right ? I think my next big writing will be about the ongoing problem of AI roleplay (example; character ai) encourages addiction and is bad for our mental health.
