the virtualverse (Jargin No.23)

okay i got TWO (2) (II) things i want to talk about primarily today because they have been the main highlights of the past week

changed my mind it's 2 bigger topics and 2 smaller topics. first of the smaller topics is that I've been playing even more death stranding recently and I played it so much for two days straight I'm at the 20 hour mark now according to steam. still on chapter 3 but from what i've seen online there's like, 13?? it's gonna be a while until i finish this one but i'm loving it a lot i sit there and play and say "i wish i could walk around with 300 pounds of luggage on my back" the game brainwashes you into thinking that

2nd smaller topic is that the car seat headrest concert is 3 days away I am so excited but i've stressed that three times at this point i think so i won't dwell on that for long, just know that i am so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so [synonym for "excited"]

okay first thing main big thing for this week, been working a lot on the new game dev project and i've made leaps and bounds of progress so far and I'm happy with it. was working on part of the inventory today (which i have been doing for the past week) and remembered about the SpaceHey blog i gotta write because I won't have many other chances to write one for the rest of the week. but in case you were interested i recorded a bunch of loud death screams in my parents' van the other day and it was a Dan Hentschel moment for sure. things are coming along nice though, many good ideas are being written down and i'm hyped to work more on it :D

second big thing is that my brother let me play on his quest 2 yesterday and I got to play Bonelab.... i'd played Boneworks when i had a Rift S back in 2021/2022 and that game was my favorite thing ever but the Rift S sucked as a headset and it broke all the time and i didn't have it for long. when I got a taste of Bonelab and blowing off the heads of zombies with a shotgun i became unimaginably jealous and i went to see how much one of the newer ones was.... The Quest 3S was on sale for $250

i don't know where you (reader) are from but a standalone vr headset that can also connect to my computer that also has vr games from four years ago that i used to have was an insta purchase i fear. it's coming in friday and I'll be in chicago by then but I'll play on it on Sunday hopefully. very excited for this

also one more cool thing D&D with friends this upcoming tuesday, so hype! also college soon, so hype! etc
