I feel too old

I'm only 22, but everywhere I go, everyone is younger than me. Even at work, either my coworkers are 18 or in their fifties. Everyone younger than me seems to be having a better life. I feel lonely and left behind. I'm sick of being around people and being out of place. Why can't I find somewhere to hang out with people my age?
