this movie was…something. wasn’t what i expected at all. on tiktok, it seemed like this freaky, misunderstood romance. it was only freaky. that’s it. it wasn’t even a romance. IT CAN'T BE CONSIDERED A ROMANCE.
i think ppl just viewed it as a romance cuz they said i love you. mind you, they barely know each other. well, erika (the main character, the piano teacher) knew him slightly more cuz she's lwk a stalker. other than that, there was no bond. it was simply gazes and short conversations. walter was in lust with her. all he sought out was sexual contact in some way, despite her lack of participation during the sexual acts. LIKE HOW MANY TIMES DID SHE PUSH HIM AWAY OMGGGGG.
when she was ready for a “relationship”, she laid out everything she wanted from walter (sexually), and he just told her she was sick and left. ONE AGAIN, HE DOESN'T LOVE HER!!! GOD FORBID A WOMAN WANTS TO HAVE KINKY SEX!!!
of course, she goes after him because she has been sexually repressed for a long time, and she finally found a guy who was interested in her. i’m not surprised that he succumbed to her pleas so quickly when she sought him out. IT'S ALL ABT SEX FOR HIM.

AND WHEN HE SHOWS UP AT HER HOUSE ON THE SAME NIGHT, SLAPPING HER AROUND LIKE HE WAS GIVING HER WHAT SHE WANTED, EUUUUGHHHHH. EWWWWWWWW DUDE. NO SEXUAL TENSION AT ALL. SHE OBVIOUSLY WASN'T FUCKING WITH IT. PLUS HE WAS DOING THIS IN FRONT OF HER MOM. LIKE DUDE? IT WAS SO BAD. AND WHEN HE FINALLY GOT WHAT HE WANTED, DESPITE HER LOOKING SOOOOOOO OUT OF IT, HE JUST LEAVES?
GUYS WHAT THE FUUUUUUUCK? WHAT THE SKIBIDI? HE DOESN'T LOVE HERRRRRRRRR. it’s a sad movie. the way she stabs herself after seeing him again. LIKE GUYS? HOW DO U EVEN THINK ABT CLUMPING THIS MOVIE TOGETHER WITH BABYGIRL AND SECRETARY?

omg i love this movie (not in a ldr babygirl nsfw lover way) , i just rlly think its so interesting. im not an intelligent film critic, so my judgement could be misplaced, however i do agree with you that walter did not love her. i think his infatuation with her has to do with his idea that "having" her would boost his masculinity (alpha brain literally) esp given her age (older than him) and her position (his teacher). i think both of those things would traditionally put her in a higher power position than him. but thru 'relations' he is overpowering her.
i think the letters/and eventually the ending, is his anger boiling over from her dominating him once again with her fantasies. he is not in power (in his head) if she had orchestrated (ha get it) the acts that they would do. thru her letters and desires, she is in control of what she wants.
i think the ending w that scene was an attempt to flip that, basically taking her words and twisting it "im doing what you asked, you should be happy" kind of thing.
idk theres so much to say about this movie, i may need to rewatch its been a long time and give a movie review in my blog lol.
dude, i didn't even think abt WHY he wanted her so bad. that's a good point. no wonder he gave in so easily when she pulled up to the ice rink and told him that she loved him and stuff. AHHHHHHH!!!!!!! HOW COULD PEOPLE SEE THIS AND ROMANTICIZE IT??? you should definitely rewatch it and make a blog.
