i love cd booklets

as the title says, i love them. i honestly buy albums for the booklets more than i do for the cds at this point (since i've got a collection of mp3s i use instead, lol)

i just love this added layer an artist gets to play with. i like how different they can be from album to album, artist to artist. for example, gorillaz seems to really like doing fold-out style booklets (i assume since both gorillaz and demon days have it), linkin park (at least in meteora) did a standard lyric booklet with a typical staple binding while mcr's black parade has one that folds out into a poster. it's a cool thing, to see something seemingly so small and mundane come in different forms and shapes all reflecting the music it comes with.

they just make me happy, i guess.

Since I have mostly Linkin Park cds, I've seen that they first introduce the album and then they insert the lyrics. I find it a lot useful. Others artist of which I have cds insert only photos and titles.
