FEX NEW ALBUMMMMMM

Alright so one of my favorite Bands (FEX) Released their first Album ever!!! IF you dont know FEX, they are the band behind "The most mysterious song on the internet" and they released an album recently (11 days ago, i know im late) containing 10 songs that were recorded back in the 80s!!! im gonna rate them now :D

Skyscraper: 6/10
Not the strongest start to the Album, but Its just really not my kind of vibe. Its definetly a good sounding song, just not my kind of vibe. Kind of reminds me of a "Door" song, the way theres chopper sounds in the beginning. Really just reminds me of a vietnam war era song by "Door"s or something.

Subways Of Your Mind: 8/10
Instant classic. Literally THE SONG of FEX i love it, although its definetly not my favorite version. Still, such a banger. Of Course it has a complely different vibe of the version commonly found on youtube, but still a really cool version. Something youd find playing at a festival or something. Strong 80s vibes. I picture a main character of a movie driving through the night with that song playing in the background. Love it.

Goldrush: 7/10
This Song is like SO CLOSE to being a really good song for me. Personally, i really dont like it when songs change tone or melody throughout the song, which it does at the start. Its still a really interesting song tho, the melody of it like being almost a happy song is incredibly interesting. if the entire song was like 1-2 notes higher it would be a happy song, but alas. Its still a pretty good song, but definetly not my favorite of the album.

Heart In Danger: 9/10
I really really like this one, its just perfect for a concert, especially the rythm is just perfect for the whole crowd shouting it throughout the concert. UGHHH the lyrics are also really good and i love the instruments used. The synth is carrying so much throughout the whole bands sounds lol. Love it, id sing along in my car.

I Got My Eyes On You: 10/10
I ADORE THIS SONGGGGGG its probably my favorite from the besides Subways Of Your mind. I really dont know what it is but just the vocals combined with the really cool instruments in the back. Its just *Chefs Kiss* Perfect for someone going through a love phase rn :D

Dirty Slapstick: 4/10
not my type of vibe if im honest. It sounds pretty cool, and there are certainly cool ideas but it just gets stale after a while. Also the sound quality sounds pretty off on this one, maybe the cassette degraded more heavily than the others. I like the more aggressive vibe tho it really adds something to it.

Talking Hands: 10/10
I loveeeee this, the way its sung, the instruments, the hook its just UGHHHHH i need to sing along to this no matter where i am. I Love the way the instruments are being used throughout the song like stages, the normal rythm then the really heavy and almost fast hook, its just so harmonious i fucking adore it. I absolutely love it. 10/10

Strange Feeling: 8/10
this is just a really really nice slow dancing song. Really like the vibes. The keyboard is such an interesting stylistic choice here. I cant decide between the vibe being "im sitting alone in a bar cuz everything sucks and im downcast and drinking whiskey while smoking in a corner of the bar" or its just a really nice song to slowdance with someone youre in love with too. ALSO, idk why but this song kind of reminds me of trad goths. Its just the vibe i guess. Nice one

Jenny: 3/10
This one really stumps me, because the start sounds like a show intro. Like you can see the different clips of the family members doing tasks and the actors name being flashed onscreen like a sitcom or something. Also the instruments are kind of confusing in this one. This legit just sounds like a theme song for like a show. Really confused about this one.

Subways Of Your Mind - NDR Version: 10/10
I FUCKING LOVE THIS VERSION SO SO MUCH. It is truly one of my favorite songs of all time, it just gives off such "i am living through a major event in my life" vibes. Like it sounds like a song youd listen to while grieving, or (again) something trad goths would listen to. It also kind of reminds me of depeche mode. Obviously its unfair to put this one in here cuz i always will associate this with myhouse.wad but i just really love it. 10/10, everybody needs to listen to this
