Superman>Jesus

This is the first essay type thing (more so just my scatterbrained thoughts) I have written since college and is probably not going to be the best. I hope to get better at making my points and articulating my thoughts with time

to preface, this is coming from the perspective that both the Biblical Jesus and Superman are both fictional characters and that poorer depictions/iterations  of superman I.e. man of steel and injustice are exactly that, witch Jesus, sadly doesn't have in his favor.

Up until recently, in some regard or another I have been a Christian and have worshiped the Hebrew God (Yhwh, Ada, Elohim) and his son/avatar Jeshua (Jesus) whether that be walking in the shoes of a "prodigal son" or as a Church attending Devotee. I am also an avid comic book Fan and a MASSIVE Superman Fangirl ( he's my favorite :3 ) and superman was one of the many, many factors that caused me to deconstruct my faith and eventually lose it. why?

SUPERMAN IS A BETTER MAN THAN JESUS!!!!! (in my observations)

some points of comparison:

. both were sent by their father to us from the "heavens"( in J's case literally and  in S's case figuratively).

. both were raised by humble people of Earth.

. both realized at a young age that they were different and gifted.

. both disappeared into the wilderness to learn and to forge themselves ( though superman was not tempted in the show by Mr. Mxyzptlk, like Jesus in the desert with Lucifer...actually i'd love to see that:0).

. both were have a strong connection to their "heavenly" fathers and communicate in some way with their spirits.

. both prioritize good deeds with the use of their gifts.

The differences are Jeshua had an ulterior motive to uphold religious Dogmas and to convert the population to a set line of thinking with the prospect of freedom but freedom in deep conformity. I point to Mark 5:17 as an example " Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or Prophets; I have not tome to abolish but to fulfill them". on many other occasions Jeshua will do a good deed for someone but then send them out to tell people that he has arrived, God made flesh...the christ very much not unconditional love.

superman on the other hand gifts his kindness with no tag, no caveat no spoken contract and no ego. when he saves the kid, Regan from committing S*uicide in 'All-Star Superman' there are no theatrics, no command to spread his name just pure good, pure kindness and a far better example of unconditional love.

these are just two examples of why I find superman a better example and a better man than Jeshua.

thankyouu for reading:3

I'll probably come back to this when I have a better understanding of how to format my thoughts cohesively and make a better version.

Agree with basically every point here. I tend to agree with the idea that Jesus was seemingly above all else a Messianic Jew and it is clear through his dialogue with the canaanite woman that he saw non-gentiles as being secondary.
That being said, Jesus was definitely a real person. I am not sure if you meant "fictional" as in the way he is represented in the bible is fictionalized, in which case, yes, though we may never know exactly to what extents, but if you meant that he himself was likely not a real person ever (mythicism); this is generally regarded by scholars to not be true, we have sufficient historical evidence to conclude that Jesus was in-fact real.
Again, if you just meant that he was likely characterized and fictionalized in the Bible, then this is very true... but simply being a myth is incredibly unlikely (there are many people in the bible this is more likely for).
