my main layout has been feeling quite boring & i've defrosted my taste for desaturated lighter palette atm (ﾟ､ ｡｀) we've shifted from pink + brown to pink + grey to reflect my current taste

i went into a rabbit hole while i was renovating my layout and this is rlly pushing me to make a neocities after i read a whole bunch of articles and found old japanese sozai sites + where the creators are currently

learned about キラキラサイト (kirakira site) & ふみコミュ (fumicomu) lately which was an internet community made of young girls coding their own website + making free-use material~

the internet as a kid

the earliest memory i have of the internet (with the purpose of communication) is making a fb profile in 2008-9 but the only thing i actually did was play tetris with my friends and hop on pet society;;

tmi but also uploaded a youtube video in 2010 showing off my hello kitty collection but a few years later when i entered middle school i forgot the login and was extremely embarrassed cause i was 8 years old filming myself on my webcam with my mom taking a nap in the background of my room. like why did i do that...i regret mass reporting my acc in order to get it taken down cause it's such an obscure video since i never changed the title of the video so it automatically titles it as the exact date and time when uploaded

before i learned ps/got into graphic design, one of the biggest reasons that led me into it was because i loved this sparkly halftone and airbrushed look that is somehow reminiscent (and usually can only be seen on) of analog but i was amazed by how crazy and powerful editing softwares were and their capabilities even in the early 2000s

the first draft which was my initial preference since i didn't think asymmetrical shape/balance worked well with text, plus the coloring + patterns i added didn't translate well on a small canvas since it didn't pick up any detail ⁝( `ᾥ´)⁝

i really need some new room decor < i should probably sell some of my old trinkets < what type of decor should i find this time < maybe more 2000s tech? or stray away from smaller trinket-sized objects and more larger and stationary/statement < イケメンバンク!!!!

when i first saw it on pinterest i mistakenly thought it was something similar (in size) to a tamagotchi but no...the goal is to save up 50000yen and whenever you insert a 500yen coin, the storyline progresses

if you don't insert 500yen within a timeframe, they will leave you and you'll have to restart the saving (_ _ ;)hmm..

before saving up money you need to choose a chara between these five ikemen..i'm a huge fan of cute and unpopular gadgets that's obv for a very specific demographic (the company was called Woman Dream Project* 笑) but because it's such an old item i mainly had to rely on blogposts and articles to see photos outside of commercial pics

the only english post i was able to find but this concept is so ridiculous but super cute........i respect the work and intricate (enough) details that went into this tiny ~3x3cm screen

was initially planning on purchasing the pink one but the white version is a lot cuter and slightly rococo rocaille (｡◡ ⩊ ◡)づ:☆* was debating but because i found the white one for cheap i figured i could find the pink for the same but sadly it was $30 minimum with a huge leap to $75-120;;so in total both were $40 booo..

like any other person who scores any tech-related item, i always mass search any type of blog/video from excitement and curiosity on how it actually functions and looks irl

i found tons of blog entries about this piggy bank but this  entry was by far the funniest and longest read of my life

*to give a synopsis: a 28 year old man was gifted an ikemen bank and logged his entire journey on clearing the game but he keeps on forgetting about it so he's attempted to clear the game at least three times

when you open the entry the scroll bar will be the size of an ant so don't be surprised (´-ω-`( _ _ )

i tried my best to find videos and these were all i could find which sucks because both of them chose the same chara (takashi)

redo & refine

7月2025 might be my most boring month since it's too hot to do anything and i went out for only ~4 days of the month because i'm stuck in self initiated schedule hell where i force myself to go back and revise my previous student projects to make it portfolio-ready

i've been looking for a clear acrylic container to display my favorite squishies (and to keep them out since i usually store them under my bed) and found them on one of the days i was out but now my mini shelf is looking cluttered

as seen in previous pics,

i also bought shaggy mats for my shelves since i have a lot of mesh metal in my room for the purpose of less dust on surface while cleaning (｡´꒳`｡) it looks kinda overdone and not 2000s girlroom vibe...does not help that i strictly have white furniture with grey flooring so it's all cool toned to the MAXㅜ 

kind of into the beauty of classic wood furniture/flooring these days with ornamental details but i don't think i'll change up anytime soon...will have to resort to textures and color

indeed shaggy area mats make a huge difference...

i've officially hit dead end on my j-scent paper soap that i've been using everyday since 2023 so the perfect opportunity was getting to summer cause it's popular in china and now a topic on fragrance forums (ˆ꜆ . . )💭

my friend's friend resides in china so he was able to clutch before joining my friend in taiwan but Omfg i was going back and forth between osmanthus and triple tea because TEA is a scent i'm very interested in right now (　’ω’)旦~

decided to blind buy osmanthus  

the initial spray is peachy but too amber for my taste...but as it dries, it gets more powdery and green

i've been looking at multiple asian brands who specialize in east asian scents and still looking for an almost pure white/jasmine scent~ was going to buy triple tea but chickened out from the woody description (>. - ,,) my friend bought it and it's surprisingly the only woody perfume i can tolerate because it's very subdued and a little sweeter than i expected

not a perfume purchase~

i love the kundal baby powder shampoo and saw they released this new mellow vanilla scent while grocery shopping and picked it up anyway...it's a soymilk body wash so i assumed it'd smell faintly similar but it's more true to baby powder yet more lactonic (tried a scent test between the two)

the scent actually lingers on my skin and my bedsheets over time which is a first for me...=͟͟͞͞ ( ˙꒳​˙ )‪

 and my make 

my look for going out is always a casual(?) smokey eye makeup and i think i'm getting the hang of not being afraid of black eyeshadow so i can put on enough cos whenever i usually do my under eye, i fade it out too much so it ends up looking smudged and less apparent ｡ﾟ(ﾟ꜆.  ̫  . ꜀)ﾟ｡

i never look good in colored lenses because the color of my eyes might actually be pitch black and even the most natural looking brown lenses makes me feel odd but that could also just be staring too up close in the mirror

 i found my holy grail which are the eyepony lenses in dewdrop black like OMFG finally something that does not make me feel like the DAMN WE SEE THEM meme...my eyes are on the smaller side and i don't have too much of my sclera showing so any colored lens that have a noticeable g.dia will make me look like an alien

i've got most of my base and eye makeup down^^

cool tone blindness is real because i have awful memories of using coral lippies so i have a whole bunch of lip products the same shade ( ･̆ω･̆ ) i've been into smokey makeup with a more neutral lip but everything i keep mistakenly buying is extremely cool toned &it looks like i put pink highlighter on my lips (ex. dasique shade 10 berry choux)

 that is until i bought heart percent peach milk for the perfect base before applying bbia glow lip tint in daily..actually pulled the whole look together and just right for my tastes

the greatest place ever when i was a kid was 100% third party gift shops that sold jumbo plushies wrapped up nicely in cellophane with a ribbon on top which led me to the youtube incident cause i still think plushies look the cutest when they're wrapped up like a gift and put on display

wasted sooo much time tagging over half of them since i thought it'd read the file and display the song name but this girl only shows the literal mp3 file name so i was the one about to self destruct when i had to go back and rename all of them like the list i showed above (￣□￣」)ugh

i kept track of which ones i tagged to save the work just in case i wanted to transfer them over to my q-pot keitai (̨̡　`ᾥ´　)̧̢ which do read mp3 files...

*some tracks are out of place and doesn't match the timeline but i added out of testing to see how much space i had left in my SD card (also for vibes (^.6 )v~)

i contemplated too much initially on which songs i wanted to add before knowing it only reads the file name (whenever i tag a song i always make sure to list the regular info but also genre, year, album, tracklist #, and album artwork which is why it takes forever)

but when i saw this vid i had to go down DDR/eurobeat route for this mp3 player...it's 2008 and this is playing on my hello kitty mp3 and speaker set

which is so funny to me because in 2008 i was 6 years old and faintly remember distant relatives of mine having this DDR dance pad but i never got to play because what does a 6 year old know about eye to foot coordination but on beast mode ( .  ̫  .  𓏼 )

outside of living online i've been greeting the neighborhood cats more often and now i've been feeding four to five cats daily when i've been feeding three everyday for the past year
