Rotdog

I wanted to eat a hotdog, but my dogs grew a thick white mucus around them, and everywhere the slime touched turned into meat-slime, sloughing off the dog as I poked it with my finger. The stench alone was enough to make me retch, however my brother thought it was still a valid consumable; he ate 2 and threw up immediately after. I'd describe the white slime similar to a scoby or coagulated semen, while the stench was a pungent vinegar-like decay.
I crushed one in my hand in a fit of rage, a mindless action followed by regret. :(
