Summer of 2023

Summer of 2023 was literally the best summer ever. We had crazy movies releasing like Spiderman: Across the Spider-Verse, Oppenheimer and so much more. In general it was just an amazing summer. I had the whole of 10th grade ahead of me. My cousin came over to stay and we went a lot of places with her. I was yearning for SS like crazy and he liked me back too. 

Today feels like one of those days from that summer as it's rainy. I rmbr that summer being cloudy most of the time which I loved cus I'm a cloudy/rainy day person over a sunny day person any day.

What reminded me of it was a reel I saw on insta on the spiderman movie. I'm listening  to the album rn (so gooood). I wanna go back in time to that point so bad. I had so much time and there are things I wish I did in 10th grade. Like maybe put moves on SS and actually make smth happen. Sort things out with a few ppl I don't talk to today and dk if I'll ever see them again cus I never sorted it out. 

I also js wanna relive that summer. I rmbr going to this cafe in our apartment with her and my sister every evening, it was sm fun. I would do basically nothing at home and it was so good. Listening to Calling from that album and it reminds me of SS so much. One of the reasons I got into that movie was cus of him. He used to always repost the reels on insta and so I watched it. Tbh I've always loved spider-man the live action, I js never tried this one. I'm in love with it now tho. 

Take me back to that moment in the theater where the movie ended and 'Am I Dreaming' started playing. I also rmbr going with my friends a few days before school started to watch the Barbie movie. We tried to get S to come but he couldn't. I rmbr showing up and I was the only one in our friend group actually wearing pink lmao. 

I'll always miss it.
