so lately i've been planning on cutting my hair soon and i've decided to bite the bullet and give myself a scene haircut cuz i've wanted one for YEARS but lately i've been so scared to actually do ittttt. like i know it's just hair and it'll grow back but omg i haven't had a drastic change to my hair in years. it's also the first time i'll be cutting my hair outside of trimming my bangs. i could pay a hairstylist but i know they probably wouldn't execute it exactly like i want it. i know i have to do it though, i've thought about this hair cut for like three years. i don't know when i'm going to do it but i'll def share pics when it happens!!!!
xoxo

NOE!!!
as someone who has been cutting his own hair for months + even gave myself a semi scene haircut first of all i recommend watching a few yt vids on especially the bangs since they can be a bit tricky(the tut i used is by MsFrankenStitch personally i trust 10+ years ago videos more for these types of stuff). as for the rest, scene hair requires A LOOOTTTT of hairspray and stylist CONSTANTLYYY. if you just want the shape of it then do subtle layers with a razor - not scissors but i will warn you that razors may damage your ends a little (idk ive been giving myself haircuts w razors a lot and i dont really have any split ends) but be CAREFUL WITH THE RAZORS start slow from the bottom and gradually go up till you like the shape and length. anyway good luck if you actually do it i lvoe love love layers and i love love love scene hair
thank you for the advice! and yeah i've watched a lot of tutorials and found some good ones that i've saved and watched over and over and over again. tbh i dont really care that much for the big hairstyles on me, i just like the bangs and the layers. i planned on using scissors tho since my hair is fine and i heard that razors can damage and make fine textured hair puffy lol. i'm mostly just nervous to have my hair not all be one length. trust me i loveee layers, but i also haven't had long hair in a long time, so getting rid of the equal length is kind of intimidating lol. thank you for commenting though and i'll check out the tutorial you recommended :)

i get that completely, layers can be hard to maintain and get used to at first but it gives your hair an unique shape which is overall why i love it.GOODLUCK ON YOUR HAIRCUTTTT I HOPE IT ALL GOES WELL !!!!
