character concepts running around in my head.

I had an idea of these two characters called Dipshit and Cocaine. 

I don't have a design for either of them, but I have loose lore for the two little critters I've been thinking of.

Dipshit is a ghost who can't find their final resting place. They died by getting hit by a semitruck so hard they were sent directly to death to receive final judgement and guidance to their final resting place. Death tells them that Dipshit was so petty in their living life that they can't be allowed to die.

Death describes Dipshit as a "divine cockroach" because while they aren't allowed to die, they also aren't alive. Dipshit then gets turned into a humanoid with traits of a spider/octopus. 

During the discussion between Dipshit and Death, Time has passed, and the world was partially consumed by the abyss and a zombie outbreak began. The abyss' properties mutated the zombies to be similar in how they were alive and to also self-cannibalize in order to survive due to how the animals and plants have died due to the abyss consuming part of the world.

Death gave Dipshit crystalized ambrosia before sending them back to earth. As Dipshit roamed around the world now half-dead they find their friend Cocaine. Cocaine died during the outbreak but in their living life they were very hang-loose and died by getting bitten by a rabid, pre-mutated, zombified girl dressed as a princess while walking through the park and smoking a cigarette.

Dipshit gave Cocaine the crystalized ambrosia which brought them back to life as a zombie. 

The two now go out to cause hijinks and try to navigate their dying world.
