things have been going well mostly

i finally got my stuff back from my ex and i gave him his stuff too. well. i had my friend do that because he didn't want to see me.. but its okay i guess. it hurts a little bit because now the only thing i have of his are the flowers he gave me - dried - and some little notes he wrote me. and the memories obviously. but i guess ill live lol

i've been listening to a bunch of music lately. a lot of my favorite artists have released new stuff. alex g's new album is really good! also dream, ivory and lil darkie have put out some cool stuff too. yang is super different from the rest of darkie's stuff. more mature, more raw and real ig. i like it. new mac demarco single is pretty fire too.

anyways i'm gonna go see some fireworks tonight with my parents. my city is hosting a fair and on the last night they have a whole show. cool stuff.

here's some of that poetry i've been writing. i like this one a lot, the rest isn't so great though.

   ash it on my wrist; you were never a smoker anyways.

   but the burning might make things right again.

   i would take it if you’d kiss the wound and pinky promise not to leave again.

   will you hold me in your lap while i shake?

   we can listen to bauhaus and let it score the double suicide, the little death split between our mouths and hips.

   you can brush the tears from my face as they come, as we do the same.
