gee tar ramblings

it's been about four or maybe five months since my dad put me in music lessons to get me to leave the house. i really like my instructor, she's really cool and we laugh a lot during our time together ^_^ i have lessons every sunday so i gotta get ready in a few hours today.... the first song we learned was northern downpour by panic! at the disco, we're currently practicing let the light in and brooklyn baby by lana del ray, since they're both pretty easy. i think ive made good progress, but im pretty slow with switching chords, especially with northern downpour, since that song requires switching from C to F x_x;; i used to teach myself on and off ages ago on an acoustic, but for my birthday this year, my dad got me this beautiful fender squire in a bright turquoise color, who i've named frankie! shes got an awesome cheetah print strap and she's also named after the Connie Francis song, may she rest in peace,,,  anyway..... um i was writing this sort of as a letter to my future self, who hopefully has improved A LOT by whenever... and keeps the same excitement throughout :3
