I would if I could. My asian parents even though we’re more than financially stable: ‘that’s rubbish’
aw that really really sucks :( im sure you can get more things like that eventually tho maybe your parents will come around to it or even you can get some yourself and maybe hide them? thats what i do coz my parents are always like "its so expensive though and nobody uses them anymore"

I totally get it- it’s awesome buying vintage stuff like that. I’ve been trying to find cassette tapes recently, but I haven’t had much luck, and I have to burn my own CDs since all the CDs I find are things I’m not interested in, but I totally agree with you; it is awesome to go out and buy these things.
SAME cassettes r kinda hard to find although i do go to record fairs and stuff (there was one on today which is where i got the records from) so they always have a couple there but nothing that i like - maybe some day hopefully. my dad used to burn cds the whole time and taught me how to so now that you said it i might start doing it again maybe. half of the things i listen to im not interested in either or sometimes cant even find them (like misfits for example unless its online) its so annoying but me personally it makes me enjoy looking around music shops because maybe ill find it eventually
