Shin Megami Tensei V will NOT win the Best RPG award even though it fucking should.
Resident Evil 8 is gonna win GOTY.
"Gamers" are gonna be hella pissed off because of the Games for Impact award regardless of what wins. And the same goes for the Innovation in Accessibility award. Since "Gamers" seem to hate it when anyone who isn't cishet, white, and neurotypical is able to enjoy a game.
Far Cry 6 won't win a single award. Though I wouldn't be surprised if Giancarlo Esposito wins the award for Best Performance. He definitely did really well in Far Cry 6.
Guilty Gear Strive is gonna win Best Fighting Game. Considering the other nominees, there's isn't even much of a choice here. Though Melty Blood might have a chance as well.
Dream is gonna win Content Creator of The Year. Just by the sheer amount of people who worship the fucker. He's gonna rig the vote like he did for the fucking glow squids.
Breath of The Wild 2 is gonna win Most Anticipated Game. Because Nintendo fans are fucking wild hogs. And then PlayStation worshippers are gonna piss their pants over God of War Ragnarok not winning. Even though God of War 4 is the worst game in the series. And no I will not take any further questions.
And of course no matter what, there's gonna be a kinda shitty musical performance. Though Green Day did pretty well back in 2019.

imo dread is a more likely goty contender, though i really want psychonauts 2 to win. honestly, i still think botw 2 vs elden ring for most anticipated is a toss up but i think it's a pretty stupid award category to include anyway (awarding pre launch hype in a post cyberpunk climate is so funny) otherwise i mostly agree
