Introduction

I'm Brian and this is my first full post. I came here from facebook because of the censorship. I had my account flagged for discussing Dr. Seuss books. I couldn't believe it! We went from being able to have open to discussions about anything to getting strikes for discussing a children's book. The world has turned upside down. 

Anyways, I'm pretty cool to talk to. I have generalized anxiety disorder so I have issues with being out in crowded public spaces but when it comes to conversation, I listen and I'm told I'm pretty funny. I don't really know what else to say but I'll try. Music? I listen to a lot. My typical genres tend to be country and hip hop. I do like classic rock though, but not much a fan of the newer rock music. I'm a big music buff so even if a song has good lyrics I may not like it. It has to have certain sound quality and not just the level of audio but the instruments. If it sounds like the instrumental was made with a computer program, I typically don't vibe well with it. 

There's something about the sound of live instruments isn't there? When played right instruments, even without vocals can pull you into a new world. When it comes to vocals and lyrics I will say that fun songs I can get on board with, but I absolutely prefer for songs to tell a story. I have a hard time listening to something if it's not telling a story. Now as for movies, I like comedy and horror. When it comes to horror, I prefer ghost stories to slashers. There's something about a haunted house that always pulls me into the story. That's really all I can think to write right now but when I'm more motivated and I get passionate about a subject I will post more blog posts!
