When I was
A young boy
(In middle school before my egg cracked)
I started wearing nail polish. Most of the people in my life hated it. Some of my girl classmates hated how annoying I was about bugging them about it, boy classmates hated it because they felt like boys shouldn’t wear nail polish, teachers hated it because it caused disruptions and distractions in class, and my mom hated it because she didn’t like the guidance counselor calling her in her own classroom to rat on me about it (and later didn't like my blatant disobedience about not doing it at all). Nowadays, boys do it all the time and aren’t nearly as mocked or ridiculed over painting their nails. You don’t just live in the world as a part of it, you make the world you live in as a part of it.
Ok so first i wanna say i love that so muchhhh and getting into trouble for nail polish is stupid, cringe is life so that's why i do what i do and dress how i dress because 1. Who's gunna stop me and 2. Its my life so so what if i dress McBling and emo? I started bringing purses to school and stuff and a couple people stared also.
