SILVERSTONE GP OH MY GOD

Okay, I know I'm super late. I forgot to write about it to be honest, but here I am!!!

I'm not kidding, I cried at this race. Absolutely one of the best races I've seen.

First and foremost, we have to address the elephant in the room.

HULKENBERG PODIUM!!!!

I mean, it sucks for Hamilton to have his streak broken, but this is for sure the best reason to break it. I'm not even that much of a Hulkenberg fan (don't get me wrong, I think he's a great driver and a great guy, I just find myself rooting for others for the most part), but I literally cried during those last few laps. Genuinely beautiful race from him, and those strategy calls were just magnificent. Good on him.

Other than that, the race was absolutely insane. 16% rookie survival rate (good on you, Bearman, love that guy), Max spin, zero visibility, Charles and Carlos going off, Lando home victory, Piastri 10-second penalty, Alonso points, and - this one's more personal - my brother was there!!! He brought me back a Lando Norris monster, and I can say it tastes kinda like medicine. The aftertaste is nice, though, I think I might just not be a big fan of energy drinks. 

He also brought back my first ever piece of official Formula One merchandise, a George Russell shirt!! I love it, but when looking at the name GEORGE RUSSELL, surely you'll agree that the proper way to incorporate his racing number is not GEORGE RUS63LL as they did, but 63ORGE RUSSELL? I feel like it makes more sense. Anywhoozle, I thought that was pretty awesome.

Basically, this race was awesome and honestly I can't imagine we'll have a race this good for a while.
