Like, yeah, it's nice to be in ARDES cause all I do is draw for 4 hours and listen to music and learn about things I'm interested in BUT WHAT IF I WANNA STUDY HUMMS SUBJECTS TOO :((
I'm not sure if it's the same for other schools in and outside the Philippines, but HUMMS has a specific subject about religion. I WANNA LEARN ABOUT THAT. SAME THING FOR THEIR SOCIAL SCIENCES SUBJECT
Religion and Society and all that jazz is ingrained AND PART OF THE HUMAN EXPERIENCE and I FIRMLY BLEIEVE THAT HUMANITY IS ART AND ART IS HUMANITY and I am SO MAD THAT I CANT BE IN TWO STRANDS AT ONCE
If only elective classes were a thing here

the government is shit and doesn't care enough to actually fix the education system. and right now it's undergoing ANOTHER change in it's curriculum. i've gone through shs and i got lucky it worked out for me but it did not prepare me for college at all. glad i got in a great uni after all that bullshit
