Books, Games, and Movies I've enjoyed lately (Recs Welcome!)

This is like, my first ever blog, so bare with me. But I thought it would be cool to shout into the void about some fun i've had as we're halfway through the summer now. 

The new Superman movie? A lot of fun tbh. Though I wasn't surprised by how good it was after seeing the initial trailer. I hope they go ahead and greenlight the sequel! Plus, Gunn spoke about future projects and the DCU is FINALLY getting the treatment it deserves. I've seen so many people become interested in the comics now, and it's even inspired me to go back and rewatch the masterpiece that is Smallville. 

AND! The script for The Batman 2 has FINALLY been finished. MY god I thought the day would never come. I was so heartbroken thinking we wouldn't get the sequel. My only fear is that we're gonna do yet ANOTHER joker arc when there are so many other villains to explore. Like please broaden your horizons a little hollywood. 

I've also been doing quite a bit of reading. A lot of my reads this year haven't been the best, but since late June, at least, I've been having a much better time. I've delved back into reading manga, even reread Tokyo Ghoul (the greatest manga series of all time idc). I think I'll pick back up Berserk too, I stopped around volume 36 like three years ago, but maybe I'm just in the mood to see what I left. Then, good lord, I want to start One Piece FINALLY! It's long running as hell, but it also looks like so much fun, so I've gotta go ahead and dive in. Wish me luck. 

Replayed silent hill 2 and 3, and I just can't believe no other studio has been able to recreate what konami gave us. Not even konami if we're being honest. I liked the remake, I think they did a phenomenal job with it and the soundtrack was so well expanded on, but there's just something so special about the og game. I hope that we get a silent hill 1 remake though, it could do so well with updated graphics and gameplay. 

On a completely opposite side, I think I want to give that hello kitty game a try...It looks like a lot of fun, and I all but abandoned animal crossing a while ago. I think I should give it a shot! 

That's it from me, for now at least. even if I'm just speaking to myself, i quite enjoyed making this. If I do happen to stumble across anyone's eyes, please feel free to give me recommendations for books, movies and games. I'm always open to exploring new genres and trying new things.
