omw the beat the hell out of this horse rn but it is genuinely so annoying that women cant have any hobby without getting hit with crazy allegations of being a freak or just plain insulted for being alive. saw a post once about a guy saying how is him watching Freaky stuff considered cheating but his gf obsessing over gojo isnt like. Huh. a girl cant have a favorite character anymore ?? a girl cant make silly jokes about wanting lines on paper anymore ??? how in the world are those comparable. and for women who read romance novels esp the dark romance readers !! heaven forbid an adult woman reads an adult book written by an adult !! shes literally the target audience i guarantee u most of them are aware the bad topics are Bad IRL they arent babies. they have critical thinking. like yeah some of them get rly weird about it but that happens for literally every hobby ever !! they js happen to b a loud minority !!! not every single woman is fetishizing or romanticizing these bad things theyre simply enjoying a story !! u know ! fiction !! fiction effects reality yes but not when the readers got a fully developed frontal lobe dude. women arent little baby toddlers who cant think for themselves they know how to read story with murder in it and recognize that murder is bad in real life and also enjoy the drama and tension and storytelling of it all in fiction ok. leave women and their harmless hobbies alone bruh god forbid women do anything
