I just logged back in after a loong time!! almost forgot how things work here

I rlly wanna know how can i enable notifications on the website/mobile app? Or can i even be notified when im messaged? Or do i have to check manually? 

Dont want my frenz to think im ignoring them, but i also wanna stay up-to-date if that makes sense :P
