Mistress of the night
draped in her finery of onyx velvet,
wears her Cosmic jewels so well
in 'Elizabeth Taylor' Diamond splendour,
scattering 'chippings' amongst fine Carat

glinting, winking in galactic wonder
as the pearly glow of a Medallion moon
shimmers its luminescent haze,
reflecting ripples across the pond

amid a shape-shifting pewter cloud.
A startled bat echos the silent night
as Fiery eyes like fire-flies, cascade
flambeau boulders hurtling
at high speed through raven skies
in hot Meteor Rage

as a shooting Star leaves its trail of Space dust
in Spangled glittering finale...
