"glad i came" - 4.0/5

lovely melody. love the voice effects. "help me clean up this mess we both made" love that line. songs about reminiscing relationships always reel me in and don't let go. pretty simple track about the end of an era in your life with someone. sharing one last moment before you go your separate ways. it always hurts more when you end on good terms.

"she's not the one" - 3.4/5

pretty self explanatory song about not wanting to be alone and wanting someone you can't have. filling the void with a meaningless relationship. then you feel bad about stringing someone along because you dont wanna be alone. it sucks. for you, for them, for everyone.

"meaning" - 3.2/5

hating being in love with someone is so real. it's either love or infatuation, you can't tell. you know this wouldn't work out just because of how you are but it's so hard to stay away.

"this is love" - 2.5/5

just a regular pop-ish love song. nothing special about this one at all.

i just listened to the rest of this EP and i have to say it doesn't change at all. every song is the same subject (except for track one) and with a really similar melody. does anyone else just get so sick of people constantly talking about being in love in music? despite all this tidbits of wisdom i have about relationships, i'm actually aromantic. i've always just felt infatuation; never a real connection to anyone. i enjoyed andrew garden more when he made ultra depressing shit but i'm sure someone out there could find joy in this. just not me.
