Sometimes i wonder if yall even use this site properly, i see people talking about how its dead but theres literally so many people talking all the time. Do you guys go through blogs? Go to the blog tab and press recent entries, every time you refresh theres a new post. how could the site be dead if that many people are talking.
read blogs, frequent forums, interact with people!!! see somehting you like? drop a kudos, leave a comment even if you think you have nothing to say, send people messages, comment on their page.
the website is only dead because you're letting it die.

unfortunately spacehey its facing a bad phase where most part of users who sign up to spacehey actually are weird people from gen-z era or also another ones that follows weird stereotypes and bad trash trendings like those who are brainrotten tiktok addicted and exposed to infinite scrolling low quality content , emo and fans of gore (and lets not forget of course of those users who sign up to spacehey and that are friend collectors , attention seekers and the predators) are basically a big part of such people that sign up to spacehey in 2025 (not very different from other social media).
so you cannot except much from spacehey actually , it may have many users online , but the problem its the community itself and its audience wich its filled by weird people who does not even care about interacting or even are not capable of developing a decent conversation or build a friendship , so yes spacehey its dead in community spirit and thats true , does not matter how much users are online (if they are just only random numbers shown) if nobody actually likes to interact in general , in my opinion that its considerated as dead community , if you sign up to spacehey enjoy the profile customization and coding , but if you are looking for friendships you will feel disapointed since you will not find decent people there besides weird people (but this applies to all social media in general) , so do not except online friendships being a thing in 2025 , in 2000-2010s was best internet era where userbase was better and existed many diversity of websites like blogs , wikis and forums where people was divided by their own groups on different platforms and that expanded their own creativity and knowledge , that was overall a better experience than nowdays with such centralized social media system that everyone basically use , that obviously turned things different and more toxic for userbases in general .
and talking about the blog contents across spacehey i can tell some of the content posted by users in general its poor , cringy and low quality content things in general , where even some people creates blogs complainting about their own lives problems or some weirdos start to post content like photos/selfies of themselves on blogs section from spacehey (its basically a platform filled with weird people they do not even know in first place (such pratice by part of such users its unprofessional , cringy and unsafe honestly like how many does there) , honestly i really told my points about the platform , so thats my opinion . Spacehey what i like there its the part about profile customization , but the community its bad and that makes the site itself boring and thats why many people left it and spacehey in some years may end empty like how happened with another similar site named Friendproject , remember that nowdays virtual friendship its not a thing anymore in 2025.
what i like from spacehey its the profile customization features where you can use and set different styles and the part of implementing your customizations by css code makes it even more unique , but the community there its bad and that makes the site itself boring and thats why many people left it and spacehey in some years may end empty like how happened with another similar site named Friendproject , remember that nowdays virtual friendship its not a thing anymore in 2025. i still visiting spacehey by nostalgia since that platform brings to me memories of old web era .

FACTS. You got this spot on dude. The point of Spacehey is to revert back to our old methods of communication - it's only boring because you're stuck in the modern-day internet mindset xoxo give it time, give it grace. Things will start to get fun once you hop into the swing of things

it seems that people are attempting to use an "old" website with expectations of new sites/social media apps. (strictly in my opinion. i don't know everyone's habits on the web.) the net was very different back in the myspace days and was used differently. people are just struggling to utilize the features of this website to its fullest potential, methinks. (what i would give to have a chatroom on this site like other old sites used to have, but alas.)

I've tried reading blogs and bulletins here on spacehey, but the problem is that I think I have a problem socializing even on the internet...
idk what to answer or say...I'm a very boring person to be interested in anything :c
but I think I'll try to do it again, just research specifically the things I like and look for groups, bulletins and blogs related to that! i'm just need to t a l k . . .

There's definitely people posting, but the main issue is what they're posting. Lots of people treat blogs like tweets or status updates so they end up posting a lot but nothing with much substance. It drowns a lot of the longer posts that would actually prompt conversation.
