TL:DR im glazing a videogame book
I recently bought this book and read it over like four days at work. I was already a fan of the Bioshock series but I won't lie I haven't read an entire book since middle school. It was real interesting reading about how Rapture came to be. The book follows the perspective of multiple characters, main ones being Andrew Ryan, Bill McDonaugh, Frank Fontaine, Chief Sullivan, and other side characters and even some citizens to give perspective into how Rapture had deteriorated from its Free Market City to a police state with strict laws and death penalties. It also gives the characters a lot more depth, making the game look even better knowing what exactly happened and how relationships with other characters are. Also I realized while replaying the games was that the audio diaries are written exactly as in the book I thought that was neat.
Is a man not entitled to the sweat of his brow?
'No!' says the man in Washington, 'It belongs to the poor.'
'No!' says the man in the Vatican, 'It belongs to God.'
'No!' says the man in Moscow, 'It belongs to everyone.'
I rejected those answers; instead, I chose something different.
If u like Bioshock at all plz read it, its really good, liek REALLY good imo. Its making me replay the trilogy rn its awesome.
