AI has to stop being normalised in everything

AI ruins artists, that's just a fact.

In the Brutalist, they had to use AI to make Adrien Brody's Hungarian accent more realistic. Bro- THEN DON'T CAST HIM, he's not even that good of an actor SORRY, I SAID IT. I watched the pianist and I thought he was really bad in it, but I'll rant about the pianist another time.

But anyways, back to AI.

I remember seeing an ad on youtube for some Licorice making company, first it was real people but then all of a sudden the girl was having a breakdown made entirely with AI, she was aggresively moving around and her face cartoonishly upset. I stared in disbelief once it was done, and then today I got an ad for the central station that was also made with AI. I hate it, DEEPLY. It's so lazy when companies use it, if you use ai to advertise your work or company, I'll assume you're lazy and that you're not actually passionate about your work.

There's this girl on instagram who has a projector and her background is often pretty flowers blooming and her pretty black curls making her look like a 1920's movie star with longer hair and the black and white filter. But then one post was her using AI to make it look like flowers blooming around her, it was pretty I'll admit but then her caption was her praising AI. I immediately unfollowed, even if she apologizes (which she hasn't done), it doesn't change the fact she praised it first.

AI learns from other things on the internet, it steals from the art on the internet and even the artist's way of making that art, for example Van Gogh or even the Art Deco style of making things. It takes from animations people made themselves and creates oddly blurry movements into an odd mess of movements and it's just such bad quality. AI doesn't create new things, it takes from already existing stuff and smushes it all together.

AI is also making climate change even worse, ai doesn't even always get everything right when you ask questions on google or to chat gpt. If you use AI, I assume you're lazy, uncreative, and a horrible person. <3
